[00:00:00] Um, not even being dramatic ugh oh, I am so excited for today's video. We're doing something different. And today I'm going to be testing out a bunch of Turkish munchies candies. So I'm kind of nervous about this because I don't like trying things that I'm not like used to or comfortable with. I'm very, very picky, but I do have a sweet tooth, so I feel like this might go.

Okay. So if you're excited to join me in trying out these Turkish delights, let's get. Okay. So I went on Amazon and I found a bunch of different candies from like around the world. And like I said, I'm very picky. So whether it's food, candies, drinks, whatever. I have a very, very bland palate so I have Turkish candy.

I have candy from the United Kingdom, Mexico, Japan. So if this video does well and you like this, let me know. And I will do a video with those other candies. So I have no idea. What's inside here. There's a little card and there's actually a nice little selection. Oh, there's there's like English. Maybe, I dont know maybe it's just the pizza thing.

So I'm just going to go through one by one and give these a try and see what I think about them. So this clearly is going to be a first impressions video and his stuff is like really [00:01:00] nasty, not good. If it's delicious, then maybe I need to just start buying some candy off Amazon. There's actually a really good amount in here.

So I think for starters, we're going to try out the nine cat tat classic, um, muslok kramali like, should I even bother trying to read any of these because obviously I have no idea what they say, but I'll try, it looks like a banana wafer essentially. Okay. So smells very banana E which I don't like banana, so that's whatever, but,

Hmm, that's good. That's like I said, It's like banana, but oh, well does a bit more banana. It tastes like banana bread. So it's like banana E but like not artificial banana or like banana candy. I like that. I wouldn't eat it all the time. Cause it is still kind of banana ish. That's not bad. Okay. So next we're going to try out the cat cat tat Kako Lou fin.

Dickly crema. Holly. Yeah. So, [00:02:00] um, no idea. It looks like a little, um, it looks like a little pastry, like a little croissant. Ooh. She flaky. Okay. There's like filling inside. I think it's like chocolate filling. I don't know. Yeah. It smells like chocolate, but it's very flaky. So let's just let me bite into the, I don't know.

Hmm.

Okay. I got no flavor there.

Okay. I can taste the chocolate, but very underwhelming. So I know I don't eat food with lipstick on ever. So it's going to bother me. That stuff is going to stick to my lips this whole time. Okay. Okay. Next we have a brownie. It's very clearly a chocolate brownie. I think I'll like this now when it comes to chocolate, I like chocolate cake.

And brownies. I don't like chocolate ice cream or chocolate cake, chocolate syrup, chocolate milk. My cat is over here. It's just like pulling at me crying because she wants some confections. Cause she a hoe when it comes to food, okay. [00:03:00] We have a cute little brownie. It looks very normal. It's like kind of moist, which is very surprising to me.

Oh my God. She said you better give me a bite right now, motherfucker. Okay.

Do you want some here? That's good. Hmm. That tastes like a literal fresh brownie. Hmm. Hmm. Okay. I'm gonna finish that later. here dottie you can have it just kidding. She, cant eat chocolate okay. Next we have a bidolu so this is a, I don't know, it looks like a chocolate wafer. I'm making a mess everywhere.

Yeah. It's like a chocolate wafer, so, Hmm. Hmm. Quiet. Hmm. That's good. Tastes like a kitkat and a reese and a cookie. Hmm. I like that. There's like some coffee s it's kind of strong, but it's got, I had to cleanse the palate. Okay. Okay. So next year it's looking different. So this is a pizza pizza cracker.

[00:04:00] So these just look like little pizza. I don't know. checks mix almost. Mm smells good. They smell like the pizza combos, which I'm a ho I'm a ho for. Okay. Give me a try. Um, but not as flavorful as I.

Good.

Okay. Hold on. Let me show. So if you eat like one at a time, there's not really any flavor, but if you ate a handful of like seven, then you definitely get like a pizza taste. It's not a really strong, like manufactured pizza tastes, but it just kind of tastes like a pizza after. So underwhelming, but still good.

Like I would eat them all the time. Side note. I feel bad for wasting all of this because I'm literally just taking like two bites and then throwing it away because one I'm on a very strict diet too. I'm gonna have to work off all that I eat tonight. And three, I just shouldn't be eating it. So it got thrown away.

ok we have five things left? So next. we have a HOSBES Ho how's the host best. Sure. It's a [00:05:00] cocoa wafer with coconut cream. I don't like chocolate wafers really? And I hate coconut. I hate all things, coconut, but do it for the video. Okay. They're cute. They're cute. Oh, it smells horrible.

Um, not even made dramatic. Well,

I despise, Ugh, coconut. I almost couldn't finish that. Oh, that's atrocious. I hate coconut. It just tastes vile. That's a zero out of 10. Well, next we have cacao so very clearly chocolate. It looks like a little cookie slash brownie slash. so and there's sprinkles and I hate sprinkles. I don't like much. I told you I don't like many things, so it smells like a chocolate, like this chocolate scented markers.

[00:06:00] Oh, it brings back horrible memories. Ooh. Oh, it's marshmallow cream with sprinkles. Oh, next. Like I want something in here. That's like, oh wow. That's so amazing. Tolerable or disgusting that's really nasty. The next I'm going to save these for last, because I feel like these would be the best because it says taco on it.

And I do love me a good taco next week. Harvey, caramelli I think I'm going to love this. This just looks like chocolate and caramel. And that is a combo that I am down for. There is I'm making a mess everywhere. So it's like a little wafer. Oh, that's this, these foods are so weird. Like just the way everything's designed is literally so different than American candy and American candy is boring.

These are just very like everything's creative, I guess. So give it a smell. Okay. I don't see caramel, but Hmm. oh it's inside That's good. It's chewy. [00:07:00] It's delicious. It mixes. Well, I like this a lot. Oh yeah.

This is the first thing that I'm literally going to finish. I'm going to put that aside because I'm gonna eat it next. We have hazelnut super rolls which I cannot think of what these are called in America, but we have stuff that are just like this. I usually see them in like tins. I don't believe I've ever had them.

I know I've seen them like. Okay. Smells like cardboard. Hmm.

That's much lighter than I thought it would be flavors. Not really there. I don't taste anything. I would just taste like you're eating paper. Well, I taste if anything is like the wrap part, but I don't taste any chocolate at all. That's a no for me. Okay. We have two items. We're getting there. Thankfully, some non chocolate items.

I don't know if it's a cultural thing or what, but Turkish candy. It's like all chocolate. So [00:08:00] let's try something new. These are Cuba crackers and just threw them all over me. Put this back in the box. Okay. So let's these just look like pretzels. You don't see. Yeah. I think there's pencils, yeah just pretzels, salty stick crackers.

Exactly. You don't taste like anything. We're not salty yet. I think I'm just used to American foods and candies, just being super processed, manufactured, fake, and just covered in salt. So when flavors were like downplayed and like, there was no taste, but in America everything's like too flavorful. Cause it's fake.

Okay. So last item we have are the crispy taco sticks. So they are taco flavored, stick crackers. I like that. I just noticed that it says it in English on the back. Okay. So these are identical to the last ones. Actually, they're a bit longer. I think maybe they definitely smell good. Mm. Hmm. Okay. There are thicker and harder.

Then the pretzel sticks and they definitely have more flavor. It's just weird to me because I don't know the flavors [00:09:00] of pretty much all of this stuff is very minimal. I despised, oh, coconut. I almost couldn't finish that. Oh, that's atrocious. Like you're not having an experience. I feel like as far as. But some of the stuff's been pretty good.

Okay. So I just have to take one more bite of this, this little thing I had earlier the kremali hmm. That one's good. Okay. So that is all of the Turkish delights candies that I bought from Amazon. So overall, I'm not too excited about what I just tried and not too pleased. Again, my palate is different than everyone else's I'm in America and eat American candy and food.

So I guess my expectations were just different. I don't know. I just, I was expecting some to be very, very weird or flavorful and everything was either like weird shaped or constructed, but like the flavor wasn't there, the majority of the stuff I tried was very chocolatey. So maybe that's like a Turkish thing.

I don't know, never been there don't know much about the place. So the things that were not chocolate based. So [00:10:00] like the pretzels, the taco flavored stuff, the little. Goldfish cracker looking things like they were good. And like, you definitely got more of an authentic pizza tastes. Like when I think of the flavor of pizza, like that's what I would think of, but it just wasn't strong.

So if they were like judged up a bit, I feel like I would really, really like them. But those were the three things. Like the pretzel sticks, the taco ones in the pizza ones, those three things, I would see myself grabbing again and eating. Put in front of me, but everything else I would not eat except for the little chocolate caramel thing.

But no, this video was fun to make it made me try new things that I would never normally try. But like I said, I have other food items and candies from other countries.
